Mitzvi ("Mitzvi," "we," "us") helps families prepare for a bar or bat mitzvah. We know this is a meaningful, personal time — and that many of the people we serve are children. Protecting your family's information is a responsibility we take seriously. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

In plain words: we collect only what we need to help your child study, we never sell your data, we don't show children behavioral ads, and a parent or guardian stays in control of a child's account.

Information we collect

Account information — name, email, and (for a child's profile) a first name or nickname, the child's Torah portion/date, and denomination preference. We ask parents to create and manage children's accounts.
Study information — progress, practice activity, recordings or text you choose to save (e.g. trope practice, a draft speech), and tutor conversations, so we can personalize the plan.
Usage information — basic device and log data (browser type, pages viewed, general location by region) to keep the service secure and improve it.
Payment information — handled by our payment processor. We do not store full card numbers.
Communications — messages you send us and your email preferences.

Children's privacy

Mitzvi is intended to be set up and managed by a parent or guardian. Where a child under 13 (or the applicable age in your region) uses Mitzvi:

A parent or guardian creates the account and provides verifiable consent.
We collect only the information reasonably needed for the study experience.
We do not use children's information for behavioral advertising, and we do not sell it.
A parent may review, export, or delete their child's information at any time by contacting us.

If you believe a child has provided us information without parental consent, email ike@infinitesoldiertech.com and we will promptly delete it.

How we use information

To provide and personalize the study plan, tutor, trope practice, and speech builder.
To operate, secure, and improve the service.
To communicate with you about your account and (with your consent) helpful updates.
To process payments and prevent fraud or abuse.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

Service providers (e.g. hosting, email, payment, and AI processing) who act on our behalf under contract.
Your synagogue or school, only if you enrolled through them and only as needed for that program.
Legal reasons — if required by law, or to protect rights, safety, and security.

Cookies & analytics

We use essential cookies to run the site and limited analytics to understand how it's used. You can control cookies in your browser. We honor "Do Not Track" / global privacy signals where required.

Data retention & security

We keep information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, then delete or anonymize it. We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your data, though no method is 100% secure.

Your rights & choices

Depending on where you live (including under GDPR and CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your information, and to opt out of certain sharing. To exercise these rights, email ike@infinitesoldiertech.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.

International users

We may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy and will revise the "last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
